Introduction
At AMR Safety Consultant, I bring the same principle-driven leadership that defined my 20+ year career as a Certified Safety Professional. I led with integrity, treated people with respect, and built cultures of accountability— because I believed that safety wasn’t just policy, it was personal.
I previously managed safety for complex, high-risk projects including Microsoft data centers and Bayer processing sites. I conducted walkdowns to verify life-critical rule compliance, enforced 100% fall protection, and ensured energy isolation during rack lifts and open-panel work. I implemented layered work authorization systems—from JSAs to supervisor-reviewed PTPs—aligned with tiered permit cultures to drive clarity and discipline on every task.
In regulated environments, I was deeply involved in PSM and RMP contractor selection before bid award, ensuring that only those with strong leadership behavior, clean performance histories, and system readiness were considered. I partnered with procurement and project teams to prevent issues before they surfaced.
I worked to align safety with operational goals during SIMOPS and critical path work, ensuring risk was controlled without slowing progress. My approach always reflected a simple but powerful principle: lead people the way you’d want to be led—with honesty, consistency, and accountability. Now, through AMR Safety Consultant, I offer this same expertise to clients who demand proven results, clear leadership, and a human-centered approach to safety. If your project or facility requires a higher standard, I’m ready to deliver it.
Core Beliefs
At the core of my approach is the implementation of a layered work authorization system—from task-specific Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) to supervisor-reviewed Pre-Task Plans (PTPs)—each aligned with a tiered permit-to-work culture that ensures clarity, control, and accountability at every level of operation. This structured approach not only reinforces procedural rigor but creates space for meaningful dialogue between crews and supervisors before any work begins.
I actively conduct walkdowns to verify adherence to life-critical rules. Whether overseeing rack lifts near exposed panels or high-elevation work, I ensure 100% fall protection, power isolation, and physical verification are non-negotiable standards—not assumptions. These aren’t just compliance checks—they are human commitments to return everyone home safely.
As a Certified Safety Professional (CSP), I lead with the belief that safety and operational uptime are not in conflict but must move in sync. During SIMOPS and high-risk activities, I ensure all critical tasks are validated under strict safety expectations. My role is not just to manage risk, but to foster a culture where people understand why we do what we do—where safety isn’t enforced, it’s embraced.
Beyond systems and processes, I operate under the principle that people are at the heart of every operation. I lead with integrity, accountability, and a deep respect for the human element—treating every worker, supervisor, and stakeholder with the same level of consideration I would want for myself or my own family. This principle of mutual respect builds trust, keeps lines of communication open, and creates an environment where safety is sustained not just by policy, but by purpose.
In closing, I bring more than compliance—I bring leadership, a deep respect for people, and a proven track record of delivering incident-free performance in complex, high-risk environments.
